High Rock Cascade Mountains WA

High Rock is located in the Cascade Mountains, Washington State. The hike is 3.2 miles long with an elevation gain of 1350 feet. Elevation at the top is 5685 feet. The hike leads to a fire lookout that was built in 1930, however, it is no longer used as a lookout. On June 24, 2021 it was removed for renovation and will be returned sometime in 2023. The views of Mt. Rainier are spectacular with distant views of Mt. Adams, Mt. St. Helens and Mt. Hood.
