012 Sugar Man - It's Got Me Grinding Day and Night

On a dark night, Sugar Man is en route back to the homestead after a day of scavenging the countryside for anything worth grabbing. The night turns to day and time flies as we fight off starvation, and a wolf or two.

Since adopting the chase 'em down method for chickens, and not trying to shoot them with arrows anymore, the chicken acquisition-survival rate is 100%. Now we have a lot more fat for making fuel, and a lot more premium chicken meat. Things are more efficient and supplies are more abundant.

Maintaining three wood burners and keeping up to eleven chickens fed is a lot of work, and it is a bit risky to wander far from home, because dead chickens (from starvation) and relighting fires are always a possibility when you venture off on a lengthy loot run or walkabout.
