I know to the non-gun owners, 16 long guns and 1000 rounds of ammunition seem like a lot, but it's not, especially between 4 four people.

On one of my trips to a training course, I can easily have more than 5-7 guns in the car and upwards of 3000 rounds of ammunition.

I don't particularly appreciate leaving that many guns in the truck, so I bring them into the hotel.

However, because I understand that many people are not used to seeing people with that many guns and rounds of ammo, I go the extra mile to carry my guns into the hotel as discreetly as possible.

When I get to my room, the first thing I do is place the do not disturb sign outside my door because the hotel workers would have no context for the multiple guns in my room that they may see when they come to clean it.

I avoid having them come into my room altogether if I can help it.
