Path to Black Belt

I was introduced to BJJ in early 2000’s. I dabbled with it in 2004/5. I started really training in 2007. I’ve had time off for life, injuries, etc. I stayed with it though. I’ve competed, I’ve fought MMA, I’ve taught, and always remained a student. I. April 9, 2022, I earned my black belt through Marcello Monteiro BJJ Coach Assoc in Indianapolis. Here is a brief snapshot of my journey. You can clearly see when I decided that a smartphone was needed. 😂. Enjoy!
