INGREDIENTS :

725 grams cubed chicken breast
300 grams sliced mushrooms
2 chopped medium onions
4 minced garlic cloves
1 egg
1/2 teaspoon salt
1 teaspoon ground black pepper
1 teaspoon dried thyme
2 teaspoons dried parsley
100 grams cream cheese
1 puff pastry sheet
300 ml chicken stock
3 tablespoons vegetable oil
2 tablespoons flour

INSTRUCTIONS :

.in frying pan add 2 tablespoons vegetable oil on medium heat
.add 2 chopped medium onions, 300 grams sliced mushrooms
.stir well and cook until tender and set aside
.in same pan add 1 tablespoon vegetable oil
.add 725 grams cubed chicken breast, 4 minced garlic cloves
.cook for 4 minutes on medium heat, stirring occasionally
.add mushrooms & onions back into pan and stir well
.stir in 2 tablespoons flour and reduce heat to simmer
.add 300 ml chicken stock, 1/2 teaspoon salt,1 teaspoon ground black pepper
.add 1 teaspoon dried thyme, 2 teaspoons dried parsley and stir well
.add 100 grams cream cheese and stir well
.pour ingredients into a baking dish
.place puff pastry sheet on top and trim excess pastry
.fold in pastry edges
.brush pastry with 1 beaten egg
.make a small hole in middle of pastry
.you can use excess pastry to design pastry top ( optional )
.Place in a preheated oven 180 c / 356 f for 20 to 30 minutes
