As a huge fan of Romancing SaGa 2, I was excited to see how the SaGa series got its start.
The Final Fantasy Legend, also known as SaGa 1, was developed by Square for the Game Boy. First released in Japan as Makai Toushi SaGa (é”界塔士 サガ) in 1989, it got a Western release in 1990 under the Final Fantasy brand.
