Scot Stoddard - Plato: Theme 3

This is an excerpt from the track "Plato", by Scot Stoddard and Catherine Corelli, ahead of the spring 2022 release of the 14-track album "The Olympians, a progressive metal/art rock exploration of ancient Greece with a heavy emphasis on the Olympian Gods.

This track is a work in progress! So far I've done all the drums, bass, piano, pads, lead synth, solo violin and string section, which is what you hear here. There's no guitar yet, but the guitar will, naturally, take the main melody played by the solo violin here.

We have given a few updates on this album as we've been working through the tracks, and we just wanted to give one more of those updates. Work on the album has been going steady now with a push towards getting it out to you this Spring 2022. There's a couple songs still in the writing process, some need bass, and a bunch need guitars -- then a boat load of mixing!
