This is the overview of the mighty German Bismarck- class Battleship and the sinking of this terror of the Atlantic. It was one of two of that class and was named after Chancellor Otto von Bismarck. In this video we dive into the fateful battle with the HMS Hood. We discuss the ships captains and the tactics uses during the conflict. We go into what it took for the British to finally sink the Bismarck and the price they paid. The Bismarck Sinking was a huge victory for allied forces during the Battle of the Atlantic.
