On December 21, 2019 Michael Moseley was at a Nashville, Tennessee bar when he became engaged in a fight with three other men. During this fight, Moseley is alleged to have fatally stabbed Clayton Beathard (22), Paul Trapeni III (21), and severely wounded AJ Bethurum (21).

Prosecutors alleged that the situation stemmed from Moseley making an unwanted advance on a woman who was friends with all three victims.

Moseley has claimed that he acted in self-defense.
