Abscesses in Cats

Cats, like people, are vulnerable to skin irritations. While they will often be treated with ointments and creams, an abscess can form if an irritation worsens or if bacteria invades the skin. An abscess may also occur when a cat becomes infected from a spread of injuries and may be found on virtually any a part of an animal’s body. it's important to notice that while surface wounds are fairly common in pets, they will become problematic if they're infected and are left untreated.
