What DoorDash, Reddit and Airbnb founders all have in common
Hey there! I hope you’ve had a great week.
When people start businesses these days it’s seems like all they focus on is systems and automation. “How do build this business in a way that requires the least amount of work on my part?”
Don’t get me wrong I think systems and automation are necessary and amazing time savers. But in the beginning they should NOT be your primary focus.
Instead I want you to check out this video I just posted to YouTube that explains why doing things that DON’T scale can lead to far better results, more profits and a better connection with your customers.
It’s only AFTER you have an intimate knowledge of your customer, product and market that you’ll be in a position to build the systems and automations that will allow you to scale your business.
In this video we’ll look at DoorDash, Reddit and Airbnb to see how each of their founders used processes that don’t scale to build massively successful companies.
