Dustin McPhetridge - To Catch a Predator Interrogation

McPhetridge made national headlines in October 2007 when, after chatting online with a person he thought was a 13-year-old girl, he drove five hours from Surgoinsville to Bowling Green, Ky., under the pretense of having sex with the girl. Instead he was met by agents from the Kentucky Bureau of Investigation and cameras from the “Dateline NBC: To Catch a Predator” program. He was also interviewed by show host Chris Hanson. During that interview, McPhetridge admitted to possessing child pornography in his home. The Hawkins County Sheriff’s Office was notified, and upon conducting a search of his home on Oct. 21, 2007, deputies found CDs with more than 100 child porn images stored on them.
