Free range baby chick

This little chick is going to have legs of steel. It started out with a bit of a limp but has since recovered and makes it from the chicken coop to the front yard every day. We believe that the speckled Sussex is the mother but both her and the Welsummer hen are around the chick all the time. So fun to watch them over the past week!
