Sintel

"Sintel" is an independently produced short film initiated by the Blender Foundation as a means to further improve and validate Blender's open source/free 3D authoring. With exclusive seed funding for thousands of Internet technology community communities, scaled up to a viable development model for both independent 3D animated film and independent animated film.
This 15-minute film was made at the Amsterdam Blender Institute studio by an international team of artists and developers. In addition, various technical and creative projects were carried out online, by developers, artists and teams from all over the world.
