Raiden has always been one of my favorite SHMUP franchises. The minute I saw that the game was coming to the Nintendo Switch as part of the Arcade Archives line-up, I knew I would pick it up and review this SHMUP.

I own most of the games. I did not buy the SNES or Sega Genesis versions, but I have the arcade ports on the PS1 from Raiden Project. The Nintendo Switch just makes it so much more convenient.
