US Finally Withdraws From Bagram Air Base in Afghanistan

The day has finally come. The US has abandoned Bagram, the capital citadel of the American Raj. While I want to celebrate this historic event, I fear it is merely a smokescreen to divert attention from the reality of America's transition back to a covert war in Afghanistan, away from the overt war they have conducted over the last two decades.
