Sarah was Found Safe #FindSarah

A 17-year-old girl at the center of a massive search effort has been found safe, police said Friday morning.

Sarah Nicole Perkins, who had been reported missing June 25, has been found.

Authorities did not provide further specifics on her disappearance, but said she returned home -- safely -- just before midnight Thursday.

Police initially called her a runaway, saying there are no signs that she is in danger. Authorities said the only elevated worry is that she has not contacted her parents in several days.

The disappearance of Perkins gained quite a bit of attention in large part due to her father, Twitch streamer Michael Perkins or "mikeyperk," who has thousands of subscribers.
