Never Remove Real Consequences when Teaching Children

God's Word teaches us to not stand between children or people and the real consequences of their sins!

God teaches us in His Word that the most important responsibility parents have - to teach their children about God. But because of our flesh and because children have their flesh too, we need to allow them to experience the real consequences of their sins and not try to "protect" them. Instead, we need to focus on teaching them that the Goodness of God leads us to repentance.

He teaches us in His Word to us, the New Testament of the Bible, that we do not follow the Law of God given to Moses for the children of Israel, but we are to pick up our own cross, let go of all the things we think are right, and choose to do the things He tells us are right - and teaching children by the power of our words and our example, simultaneously, is the first step!
