Rescue Me (Break These Chains)

This is a story about a man, who knew the Lord when he was a child, but as he got older, he became disillusioned with his life - and turned away from the Lord - thinking he could do it on his own. And now - well, he's fallen on hard times - life hasn't been good or kind to him - and he's kind at the end of his rope - and doesn't know what else to do. So, thinking back on his childhood days, he gets down on his knees to pray - just like he did when he was a child - and has a heartfelt conversation with the Lord - to come save his soul - and rescue him.
