Lost Ways of Knowing in Christianity (feat. John Vervaeke)

Returning to my discussion of why people are leaving Christianity, I start off by addressing an accusation of the Bible being the result of a long game of "telephone." This leads to the inclusion of John Vervaeke's teachings on the lost ways of knowing. Vervaeke is a University of Toronto psychology professor who studies the nature of wisdom and the meaning crisis. He's not a Christian, but he understands the importance of religion and his teachings provide helpful insight for making sense of the growing numbers of people leaving the church or deconstructing in some way.
