I am fixing my sons toy with super glue.
I got a 1/4" dowel rod to replace the broken stick. I cut off the broken portion and drilled out a new hole. Attached the dowel rod to the ball portion with super glue. I marked the length compared to the other mallet and cut down to size. Now it is ready to make a happy sound. Easy fix with super glue.
