The Retevis RT29 is a 10W, waterproof, drop-proof, UHF/VHF (depending on which version you purchase) radio with a range of up to dozens of miles (depending on conditions and terrain) - The RT29 also has a "voice scrambler" which makes it difficult for anyone monitoring to understand what you are saying. I review the RT29 and show you how easy it is to use.
The Retevis RT29 HT is a FCC Part 97 radio that requires a ham license or appropriate commercial radio license to transmit - except in the event of an emergency, so in this video I go over what the FCC says about when you can use the RT29 from Retevis or any ham-radio without a license.
