Ode to my town

I’ve been in this town for just a few years
But I've come to understand
There’s a giant chasm between sense and senseless
And the senseless grow tall in this land

But nonetheless, I’ll try again to write a poem of wit
It will be removed, of that, there’s no doubt
But I really don’t give a shit

I’ve met a bunch of folks here
and some I’d call my brother
But the saddest part is most you people
truly deserve each other

So I’ll go back to keeping my life
small, and inside my fence
No more memes, I know for some
the joy will be immense

so Drink the tea,
wear your mask,
fly your rainbow flag
Tell your children
you chased me away
I know you love to brag

Keep your petty arguments
enjoy your narrow minds
I'll enjoy my solitude
while You all stay blind
