Why are people reluctant to refer to the Brooklyn subway shooter, Frank James, as a terrorist? This was also the case for Darrell Brooks, the driver of an SUV who killed five people and injured more than 40 others, including children, after driving through a Christmas parade last year in Waukesha, Wisconsin. However, pundits were happy to call Kyle Rittenhouse a domestic terrorist—who was acquitted after shooting multiple people, killing two and wounding another, at a protest, despite evidence of self-defense.
