A: Pets and people should avoid contact with treated areas until the spray is completely dry. After treated lawn areas and surfaces are dry, you can use your lawn, patio or sidewalk as usual.

Q: When can I reseed or replant treated areas of my lawn?

A: You can replant with ornamental flowers, trees and shrubs in treated areas just one day after spraying Spectracide Weed & Grass Killer. If you’re looking to reseed or lay sod, you should wait at least seven days after applying.

Q: Can I use this product in flower beds or around trees or landscape plants?

A: This product is ideal for renovating your lawn and reseeding from scratch, but you can use Spectracide Weed & Grass Killer around ornamental plants, landscaping and ornamental trees. Protect any desirable plants with a piece of plastic or cardboard, and if you accidentally spray one, wash with water immediately. This product isn’t recommended for spot treating weeds in your lawn, though, since it will also kill any grass you might spray.
