Increasing in Knowledge because Ignorance Will Kill You

Increasing in Knowledge it's a matter of self-preservation?

Col 1:10  That ye might walk worthy of the Lord unto all pleasing, being fruitful in every good work, and increasing in the knowledge of God; 
Col 1:11  Strengthened with all might, according to his glorious power, unto all patience and long suffering with joyfulness; 
Col 1:12  Giving thanks unto the Father, which hath made us meet to be partakers of the inheritance of the saints in light: 

Verse 10; Paul tells us that we are to increase in our knowledge of God. We must never stop or grow weary of learning.

Read your Bible with purpose, what I mean it don't just pick it up and read your favorite book or verse.

There's nothing wrong with that but you need to read it all.

I read through the New Testament once every couple months, and the complete Bible every couple years.

Verses 11 and 12; The tell you the rewards of ever increasing knowledge of God and especially if you apply what you learn.

Me doing a study for these You Tube videos blessed me far more than it does you, every video I learn someting new and "I'm thinking Ya, I need to work on that"?
