Your relationships aren’t like a standalone person or thing that exists on its own. Relationships are made up of individuals. When there are problems in a relationship, it’s not the fault of the ‘relationship’ - this abstract, non-existent thing. The problem is YOU and the problem is the other individual, and you can only do anything about only one of these two folks.
