Gotta Jam These Grooves(2021)

Just a quick song I did in LMMS & FL Studio for fun.

I was gonna do the entire song in just LMMS & Audacity but I wanted to get this track out quick. LMMS is this amazing free beat maker & that with Audacity alone is enough to produce a quality song. I'm gonna do a project in LMMS & Audacity alone at some point. It's completely possible, it just takes a bit extra time & effort than on FL Studio.

As this song, I wanted to get it out fast so I just finished in FL Studio. But the beat was made in LMMS using 3 Sounfonts & a sample of legally free drums shots I downloaded.

All in all though just a random song though. Tell me what you guys think!!!

Also if you wanna try out LMMS, it's completely free sem-DAW beat maker that can record MIDI & has a piano roll, drum sequencer, a mixer & song-editing playlist similar to FL Studio. You can't record audio with it but you can import audio into either a sample file on the song playlist & or as a sample in the AudioFileProcessor plugin. Which means you could record samples in Audacity & import into LMMS. With the newest alpha release you can now load sample files into the mixer & play instruments by just clicking on them. This software is only gonna get better & better each release. So anyone looking to get into beat making for any reason without pirating should definitely look into it.
