The TRUTH About Russia's "Gold Standard"

In this video I talk about the gold standard that Russia has apparently gone on. In my opinion Russia is not on a gold standard. Russia is buying gold from it's citizens at a current price of $1851 per oz and they are apparently going to be doing this until June 30th. It is unclear what will happen after that point. I personally believe that in order to be on a true gold standard a country needs to have enough gold to cover all of the currency and they also need to be willing to exchange the currency for gold as the US did after WWI. I think that Russia's gold standard is not a gold standard at all, but I do think that is gives gold more credibility and it enforces that belief that we as individuals should be buying gold. I am investing in gold and I will be trying to buy as much gold as I can in the near future. I hope this video helps clear up the Russia gold standard 2022 and what is really means The Russian Rouble is not on a gold standard.
