On June 12, 1949 George Orwell’s 1984 was published as a warning to the world.

Many have said Take off the warning labels and let the problems settle themselves. Others have said that if you make things idiot proof they’ll just create a better idiot. But what about the kid who goes to college and is taught that a warning is an instruction manual? It’s been a very interesting 15 months cough cough. Dependent on our enemies that used to be allies for fuel and already close to a nuclear exchange. To those who cheated this mutton head in I offer my sincere contempt.
