Jousts, Mazes, and Juggling! An Amazing Day at the Carolina Renaissance Festival: Roam with Us!

This was our first visit to the Carolina Renaissance Festival near Charlotte, North Carolina, and we had a really fun time!
We enjoyed lots of Renaissance-era entertainment including juggling, fire-eating, sword fighting, jousts, and belly dancing…not to mention a dancing stunt pig.
We saw real live mermaids!
We went through a maze and almost flew off a slide.
We wandered through vendors selling dragons, fairy dust, and wings.
We ate turkey legs, sausage and corn on the cob.
We needed more cash.
