THE FILM:

Based on the legendary tale from Appalachia, LAURA tells the story from the perspective of Laura Foster, the tragic figure at the heart of the legend.

In the short film, we explore our own theory of what happened in those final hours, the passion that both bound and tore bonds apart and the lasting impact of the decisions we make to protect the ones we love most.

For the first time, we will catch a glimpse of the woman she might have been and at the people closest to her through her eyes. This is a look at the last twenty-four hours of her life, her love for Tom, and the forces at play that ultimately lead to her untimely fate.
