Dear Pastor Bob: My pastor told me that I need to get rid of all my secular music. He said that if the music isn't about Jesus, that it needs to be thrown away. He says that ALL heavy metal is wrong too, because the musical style isn't pleasing to God. My music is important to me. It has been part of my identity for many years. I don't have any satanic music, but not all of it is about Jesus. Do I really have to get rid of all of my non-Christian music?
