Volume is an often neglected indicator for new and experienced traders alike. However, volume is a key metric in technical analysis and should be considered when creating, testing, and optimizing your trading system. In this video, I use a volume indicator to add confluence to a simple double EMA strategy. While the test results did yield a nice profit, this system has plenty of headroom for optimization. Additionally, you can take some concepts from this particular setup to deploy into other strategies and vice versa.

In addition to reviewing the indicators, providing exact entry rules, defining the take profit and stop loss levels, testing it for 100 consecutive setups, reviewing the results, discussing the equity curve, and scoring the system on a scale of 1 to 10, I also share my 6 optimization tips that you can try in your own trading system development.
