Found a Bullhead Inside a 6 Pound Channel Catfish While Processing It

I always like to see what bigger fish have been eating. While I have caught plenty of flatheads on bullheads as bait I have never done so with channel cats. It is clear though they do eat their smaller brothers. The bullhead was likely around six inches before being partially digested. The channel was 6lbs 2oz and was about 24 inches in length.

I caught it in a small park pond LOADED with bullheads. I would say he had been feasting on them regularly to be that heave at only 2 feet in length. Most channels I have caught over 6 lbs have been 26-27 inches long.
