THANKFUL FOR GOD’S NIGHTTIME SERVANTS
Psalm 63:6 King James Version
6 When I remember thee upon my bed, and meditate on thee in the night watches.
Psalm 121:3-4 King James Version
3 He will not suffer thy foot to be moved: he that keepeth thee will not slumber.
4 Behold, he that keepeth Israel shall neither slumber nor sleep.
GOOD EVENING IN YESHUA EVERYONE!!!
When you consider nighttime workers—nurses, janitors, first responders, and others—what prayers on their behalf can you offer to God?
Why would praising God lead to a blessing from Him for nighttime workers?
These questions above, as well as this short but very powerful Psalm really touched my heart, because it dealt with something, no make that someone we have been supposed to be honoring during these past couple of years, but I believe we haven't done a very good job of. That someone you might be wondering about, is the “essential workers”. You know, the convenience store employees, gas station employees, truckers, first responders, members of our military and all the nighttime employees, the people that do all the grunt work, making sure that we have what we need for every day. Those who protect us and keep us safe from harm. These are the people that we need to be thankful for and show our appreciation. But we also need to keep our praise continual even in the nighttime. this is because praise to God, doesn't stop at 5:00 PM, but it goes on throughout the day and evening, even to the middle of the night, and I pray we don't forget that.
I'd like to share some things that God has put on my heart through this vlog with all of you tonight, because God has burdened my heart to remember, and honor those that protect us. Those that do all the grunt work at night to make sure that we have what we need every day, and to give praise to God not only for these people who do all these things at night, but for how He protects us in the night. Come join me in this vlog and learn just how to do that! 😊
As I close this post for tonight, I challenge you to deeply think about these questions from this morning's devotional and ask God to help you find ways to praise these nighttime workers. To give praise, thanks, to the Lord for every one of these grocery store, convenience store, gas station employees, as well as truckers, janitors, police officers, firefighters, paramedics, doctors, nurses, and yes, especially the members of our military. Let's give God thanks for how He uses these individuals to protect us throughout the night, but also for the hard work that they do!!!
UNTIL SUNDAY MY FRIENDS;
HAVE A VERY WELL RESTED EVENING IN CHRIST JESUS!!!
