Dave: What's up Emma and crew? Well, I guess I'll try and make it quick. So I guess what I wanted to talk about is maybe you guys can correct me if I'm wrong. I'm starting to think this free speech stuff is kind of [ __ ]. Or at least the way it's framed. Because it's not the conservative angle of it. but I think some of the counters were not you in particular but some of the counters I'm seeing being proposed I'm not sure about the whole marketplace of ideas thing. I don't think we can persuade people into socialism. it's something that they have to kind of experience. if you know what I mean. I don't think it's going to be like a well-framed argument. Because and maybe this is from my own experience like what people believe tends to be formed from the environments that they're currently living in. Because like I used to work with kids that gave lots of trouble at school. Usually, they'd stop giving trouble at school because they were kind of away from the toxic home environment right? and then the behavior changed right? so I'm not. I guess maybe I'm not throwing [ __ ] at a debate or anything but I'm always kind of skeptical of the quote-unquote that people's minds are changed because of a debate. For me, they're kind of fishy.
Emma: People like debates for sports to a large degree. I mean there's entertainment value.
