Portland Antifa attack GOP Campaign event and staff - 1

PORTLAND, OR- A Republican running to be the next Governor of Oregon came under attack Saturday as Antifa members attempted to disrupt a campaign event.

Antifa clowns dressed in the all too familiar black bloc used smoke grenades and fireworks before throwing paint, rocks, and other items at the campaign staff and attendees. Salem’s Mayor Stan Pulliam, who is running for governor documented the attack in a series of tweets on social media.

Police released a statement claiming that one group attacked another group with fireworks. According to the statement, police told the campaign staff to leave the area and meet police at a separate location. Two people suffered injuries as a result of the attack. By the time police finally showed up at the actual crime scene, all the Antifa terrorists fled. There were no arrests.

On Friday, a group dressed in black block threw paint and other objects at a group of truckers traveling as part of the Freedom Convoy near the Northeast Glisan Street overpass on Interstate 205. According to a statement by the Portland Police Bureau, a shot was fired during the incident. No arrests were made.
