This week on Sunday Longplay, I'm playing an NES demake of a tech demo for the engine of one of the most famous Metroid fangames out there. Welcome to Metroid Confrontation NES Version!

Metroid Confrontation was originally a small PC fangame released by DoctorM64 as a tech demo for the engine used in his famous game AM2R: Another Metroid 2 Remake. Now someone has also taken it upon himself to de-make the game in NES style as a ROM hack of the original Metroid!

This hack also implements a couple features used in two improvement hacks, incluing Samus's new look from Metroid Origin, and starting with 99 health instead of 30 from Metroid mOTHER+99 (which I also previously played on this channel).
