Is the RYOBI Portable Pack Out System worth it? | Unboxing and Demo | 2022/08

I have been a RYOBI fan for years now, and use the tools every day in my garage workshop. In the shop I use the french cleat mounting system to store and organize my tools. In early 2020 I became a general contractor and handyman and that meant some of my tools were going to be going on the road with me.

Up until recently, I was putting them in the Ryobi canvas bag, and load them in the truck. This worked well, but I have always wanted a pack out system, and was jealous of the Milwaukee and Rigid systems out there. There was a Ryobi pack out system in the Australian market, but I could never get it shipped here. Fortunately for me, Ryobi released the LINK storage system in 2021, and with it the portable pack out system. All of my wishes had come true!

As soon as they were available, I ordered the basic kit that was the large rolling box and a medium and small storage box.. I also added an additional medium box, and small box as well as four of the crate. I can store and move a BUNCH of tools!

The system was delivered from Home Depot, and while most were packed well, the large rolling box was not, in fact is was just loose in a large box where it had been bouncing and banging around during shipping. And while these boxes are rugged, the handle locking system was damaged. I was able to take it apart, figure out what happened, and repair it, in under an hour. With it reassembled, I did a once over and and really happy with the versatility and construction.

I use these everyday, they keep my tools organized and secure, and make loading and unloading my work truck a breeze!
