Springfield Police Don't Shoot Gunman With Slide-Lock Engaged

Father's Day 2021 - Public records in Springfield, Massachusetts allegedly show 43-year-old Jose Montanez of Springfield, running around the street pointing-a-gun at officers and others. According to reports, officers were able to see that the slide of the suspect's firearm was locked in the rear position.eventually Montanez fled to the back of a local high school, threw his gun to the ground and was then apprehended.
