In Matthew 25, Jesus Christ (Yeshua), the Son of the living God, speaks of those who are His faithful servants and those who are not. His faithful servants are watchful of their spiritual condition and what they see around them and strive to be faithful and obedient to their Saviour.

As Peter mentions in 1 Peter 5:8, Be sober, be vigilant; because your adversary the devil, as a roaring lion, walketh about, seeking whom he may devour.
