By popular request, we will talk about our favorite neighborhood or area of Miami to live in, and what is the best neighborhood in our opinion in Miami.

Of course, Miami is blessed in comparison to other cities like New York in that there are a multitude of varied, different neighborhoods that are attractive to live in. It's not uncommon for someone in Miami to have friends who live everywhere from leafy Coconut Grove, stately Coral Gables, lively Brickell, central Midtown or tropical North Beach.

However, in our opinion the best neighborhood, and also the neighborhood that's most up-and-coming with the most potential and price appreciation is Edgewater.

Edgewater is a residential neighborhood with beautiful, new construction condo towers right on Biscayne Bay, immediately adjacent to and surrounded by Midtown, Miami Design District and Wynwood. Downtown lies just to the south. This central and ideal location means that not only are you a 5 to 10 minute walk from the most exciting, vibrant and interesting neighborhoods in Miami, but you also benefit from the ability to live in stunning new construction condo buildings with views of both the bay and the ocean.

There's lots happening in the area too. Whole Foods is coming to 29th and Biscayne Blvd, and Trader Joe's is set to open this month in Midtown. The Standard Residences is coming to Midtown as well, and there are always new and exciting restaurants opening in Wynwood or the Design District.
