First step in any cottage build to to build a shed. It was a bit of a hack but we only had weeks before winter. I built it 10X10ft to avoid a need for a permit. I later found I needed a permit so I regret not building it bigger. 12x16 would have been better. I currently have 22kwh of battery supply the lots needs for now. I have a separate video on that
