Introduction to the Japanese Zen: The Cult of Self Abuse, originally titled Speech from Hell. Martin Huges the only western Rinzai Zen priest in Japan gives a talk on Zen Buddhism and what it is like to be a Zen priest. This talk is a MUST view for any Zen student in the USA. Martin dispels many delusions westerners have about Japanese Zen.

This speech was given in 1998 and sent to me on tape from Martin to publish back then. Martin Huges passed away around 2006 due to complications of meningitis.
