Fear is prevalent today in ways I have not seen in my lifetime. In the past few years, we have experienced a pandemic, riots, food shortages, inflation, rising crime, rumors of world war and the list goes on. It’s no wonder people are fearful. PRAYER FOR OVERCOMING FEAR

Lord, thank you for your love, your mercy, kindness, and grace, and hallowed be your name. Lord, in these uncertain and fearful times I give my burdens over to you. The burdens that make me feel fearful, I give them to you. I come to you Lord, knowing that you are always with me. You tell me not to fear, not be dismayed. Lord, I ask that you strengthen me and help me now, and with your righteous hand uphold me and cast out the spirit of fear within me and replace it with your peace. Thank you, Lord, for taking my burdens and helping me, thank you for hearing this prayer, and I ask these things in the mighty name of your son Jesus Christ, Amen.

ABOUT EVERY STEP OF THE WAY

When I became a Christian in 2010, I wanted to know how to live my daily life as a Christ follower. I wanted a user’s manual that would show me how to live! The Bible is our handbook. God’s Word tells us all we need to know about right living, but sometimes we need help finding and understanding how scripture applies to every area of our lives, from the mundane to the spiritual.

I began Every Step of the Way with a prompting from God on my heart to make it easier for those coming to Christ and maturing in the faith to live as God prescribes. God wants us to live joyously, without fear and in abundance, but this is only possible when we live in accordance with His Word! Every Step of the Way is for those ready to follow Jesus Christ in all they do, each and every day of their lives.
