Abortion policy. Roe v Wade. It's the topic of conversation across the country.

On May 3, 2022, U.S. Supreme Court Chief Justice John Roberts confirmed that someone leaked a draft opinion from the Supreme Court seemingly overturning Roe v. Wade. Roberts also called for an investigation into how it happened.

While the legal battle over abortion policy would likely be ongoing, the ruling would make abortion policy a state issue rather than a federal one.

The news stirred up lots of emotions and reactions across the country. I wanted to hear some of those stories firsthand.

I attended a protest in California where the demonstrators told me they want abortion to be a legal option. I also spoke to an Indiana author, Ericka Andersen, with pro-life views about her perspectives.
