Attorney Bobbie Anne Flower Cox is suing New York State Governor Kathy Hochul and her Department of Health over their "quarantine camp" regulation.
In practice for almost 25 years now, Attorney Cox is leading the charge to stop the forced quarantining of New Yorkers against their will.
We are fighting, not just for New Yorkers, but for ALL Americans!
If Quarantine Facilities can happen in New York, they can happen everywhere.
If we win this lawsuit, citizens across the United States and around the world, will also win.
Attorney Cox is representing a group of New York State Legislators and a citizens' group called Uniting NYS.
The Regulation being challenged is 10 NYCRR 2.13 “Isolation and Quarantine Procedures” and it allows
the government to pick and choose who they want to force to isolate or quarantine, without proof that the person poses a health threat, for however long they wish to force the quarantine, and at a location that the government deems appropriate (which can include a quarantine “facility” or detention center).
They do not need to prove that you are actually sick. They can just suspect that you MIGHT be harboring a communicable disease.
There is no age restriction, so they can force you, or your child, or your elderly parent/grandparent into isolation or quarantine, for however long they want!
And they can use local law enforcement to help them carry out their quarantine orders.
