Why no one likes to ask for help? The common mistake we make

If you need anything just let me know. We have all heard this at some point in our lives. Whether, it be between parents & kids, office colleagues or friends we all say this to each other.
Do we really ask for help? Let me take you through four scenarios where the style of communication made all the difference.
Scenario one - A person is hospitalized and his friend calls his wife to tell her to ask him if she needs anything. Another friend calls and asks for the prescription that I would get the medicines for you.
Scenario two - A parent tells his son to ask him for money when he needs it. On the other side, another parent hands over the money to make use of it.
Scenario three - A new person joins office and of his colleagues welcomes him and tells him to ask for help as and when he needs it. Another colleague takes him around the entire office and makes him part of the space.
Scenario four - Your friend is in town and you tell him to ask you for a car if he needs it. Another friend offers that I have a spare car with me, so please make use of it and hands over the keys.

In every scenario, people needed help but any guesses on whom will they take help from? The second person in each case. It is the way you communicate and offer to help makes all the difference.

Thus, to get happiness in life we must not only do good actions but we must also offer to do them in the right manner.
