The July 5, 2021 Roblox BedWars update introduces the Inferno Shilder Kit, Ziplines as a new shop item, modification of the Barbarian Kit and Archer Kit, and other enhancements.

When using the Inferno Shielder Kit, you start with a Shield. When you equip the Shield, you gain protection from projectiles, which reduces projectile damage (this stacks with the damage reduction from armor) and prevents knockback effects. The downsides to using the Shield are that you move slower, and the shield does nothing against swords! So the main reason to use the Inferno Shielder Kit is to counter archery heavy opponents, especially preventing enemy archers from knocking you off of bridges and land structures into the void.

Ziplines are the other big item for this Roblox Bedwars update. The Zipline is an item that you can buy from the item shop for 3 emeralds. It is a one time use item, so if you want to make a second Zipline, you'll have to spend another 3 emeralds. Once you equip a Zipline, you shoot it like a bow. If the shot hits a land target, then a Zipline will be created (if you miss, then the Zipline item is used up and wasted). You can then travel along the Zipline from either direction. If you destroy the block anchoring either end of the Zipline, then the Zipline will be destroyed.

The Archer Kit has turned out to be very powerful (enough so that it's projectile damage bonus was nerfed). It seems like the Inferno Shielder Kit was created to be a counter option to the Archer Kit. Does it accomplish this goal? What do you think? I don't quite think that it does. Being able to prevent archers from knocking you around definitely nullifies a devastating effect of archery in the current game state. However, having to move slowly as well as not giving you any other positive benefit makes me think that the Inferno Shielder Kit is currently on the weak side. Of course, as Roblox BedWars develops, if the devs agree with me, the Shilder Kit will get buffs to make its use more viable.
